Rebates & Fees

Clients may be eligible for rebates through their private health funds, however, the amount claimed can vary between each fund and on your level of cover.

 

Medicare Rebates:

Medicare offer rebates for clients who are referred by a GP under the Better Access Scheme. Clients may be eligible for 10 individual and 10 group sessions per calendar year. With this rebate, you may recover up to $86.15* of your fees at Dualist.

 

Private Health Funds:

Clients may be eligible for rebates through their private health funds, however, the amount claimed can vary between each fund and on your level of cover. It is therefore recommended to contact your health fund provider for further details. Please note, private health rebates cannot be used in conjunction with Medicare rebates.

 

 

Payment & Cancellations:

Payment is to be made the day of consultation and can be made by EFTPOS (including credit card). We value the appointments and time that have been scheduled for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid paying the full fee. Notice is to be given within business hours by calling 0431 113 147. If notice is given within 24 hours of the consultation, 50% of the consultation fee will be charged. The full service fee is charged upon non-attendance. Please note Medicare and private health funds do not provide rebates for cancelled or unattended appointments.
